Part of the BIG BLOCK SERIES by Carrie-Along-Quilts, the Five Star Flannel Quilt is a fast and easy project and looks terrific in a variety of print genres! I love this pattern for flannel because of the size of the pieces. This is a good "First Flannel Quilt" if you are a beginner or have never pieced with flannel before.

If you have never used the Four at a Time Flying Geese (4xFG) technique, now is your chance. In this pattern we include a step by step tutorial on the 4xFG technique. Once you know the secret to fast and fantastic Flying Geese, you will never go back to making them one at a time!

The fabric we are using is a gorgeous flannel line called Lazy Afternoon by Maywood Studio. Maywood Studio has, arguably, one of the best quilting flannels in the business, and this one does not disappoint.
